Colorado United has been invited to the Girls Academy League for the 2024/2025 season as a member of the Mountain West Conference. The Girls Academy (GA) is the leading youth development platform focused exclusively on providing the best environment for elite female players in the United States. The GA is a national youth soccer platform representing the collective vision of member clubs. It actively engages the voice of the players to take real ownership of the league. GA embraces the desire of club members and players to maintain an unrivaled standard of excellence in coaching, competition, and regional and national showcase events throughout the year.

Currently, 94 clubs and 14,000 players make up the Girls Academy. This is a huge accomplishment for Colorado United as we join the following prestigious clubs in the Mountain West Conference.

- Albion SC Las Vegas (Las Vegas, NV)

- Broomfield Soccer Club (Broomfield, CO)

- Las Vegas Sports Academy (Las Vegas, NV)

- New Mexico Soccer Academy (Albuquerque, NM)

- Rio Rapids SC (Albuquerque, NM)

- Utah Celtic FC (Highland, UT)

- Wasatch SC (Kaysville, UT)

The GA will give our players unrivaled access to college coaches, national team scouts, and the Talent I.D. program.

"Colorado United joining the Girls Academy is an incredible opportunity to take our club to the next level. This platform offers our players the chance to participate in a league that is providing them with a clear pathway to the next levels of college and beyond. As a club that has been part of the soccer landscape in Colorado for decades, this move into the Girls Academy creates a foundation for a significant impact in the national soccer community now and in the future"

- Herman Sullivan - DPL Director

"As the Head of Coaching for Colorado United I'm thrilled that our players will be participating in the Girls Academy. This move will provide opportunities for our players and teams to showcase their abilities at the highest level possible"

We love when parents send us awesome stories of Colorado United players. From Daniel Heck (parent at Colorado United) "I thought I would share that two 2014B Competitive players were recognized at an all-school assembly at Ford Elementary this morning. Chase Burke and Braden Heck were awarded the Act Respectively award for the 5 th grade. United is not only developing great athletes, but even better young men." Chase plays on the 2014 Boys Academy Blue team coached by Will Vint and Braden plays on the 2014 Boys Silver team coached by Morton Grubert. Another example of how our organization is "Developing Players For Life." Thank you for sharing this story and we look forward to seeing what Braden and Chase achieve.

Colorado United had a fantastic weekend. We have several teams to celebrate. State Cup Champions: Our 2010G Academy Gray coached by Head Coach Luke Baker - assisted by Brad Couse - defeated Albion SC-Denver 5-1 to claim the title. Presidents Cup Champions: Our 2009G Academy Blue coached by Chris Smith defeated Albion SC-Boulder County 3-2 and our 2011G Academy Blue coached by Marcus Narvaez defeated Westy SC 3-0 in PKs. Well done to all the champions for bringing home some well-deserved hardware and for qualifying for the USYS Far West Regionals in Boise, ID next June. We couldn't be more proud of all our United players. Well done, and we can't wait to watch what the rest of the season brings.
