Colorado United provides specialized training for all goalkeepers.

We have a full-time Director of Coaching dedicated to their development. Goalkeepers are trained on a weekly basis and are evaluated for further training and development during matches.

REC PLUS GOALKEEPERS

Goalkeeping is a unique position that requires specialized training. To address this need, Colorado United’s Director of Goalkeeping, created a goalkeeper training program available to all Academy players. Footwork, handling, distribution, positioning, and shot stopping are the primary emphasis of the program. Each team is encouraged to send one or two players to attend the goalkeeper training sessions.
