Competitive Winter 23/24
The program will be focused on improving each players technique, speed of play and thought process. In essence how to deal with the ball and reacting to the next situation. Ultimately challenging themselves to perform these actions in a small sided game. Practices will be demanding and high energy.
The program will be managed by Barry Mantle, Technical Director
Age Group: 2013 Boys & Girls
Dates: Fridays, November 3, 10 & 17 (3 weeks)
Location: South Sub Sports Complex (4810 E County Line Rd, Highlands Ranch, CO 80126)

**Please note that due to limited indoor space this camp is limited to 24 players in each perspective age group/gender
The Technical Mastery Sessions will be directed by Colorado United Boys Program Director Michael Fall and the Boys Director of Coaching Seth Trembly. Elite-level staff coaches will be selected to help coach within the program, including club DOCs.
These sessions will focus on ball control and ball manipulation using both feet, passing and receiving on the move and lots of shooting! Small sided games will be used to execute these skills at game tempo.
This program is for boys between 2007-2011 birth years registered in the competitive program.
This is a 4-week training program.

The Finishing & Technical Development program will be directed by Barry Mantle, Colorado United Technical Director and Danny Woolliscroft, Boys Director of Coaching.
This program focuses on every player's favorite part of the game, scoring goals. Regardless of what position you play on the field this program will sharpen your eye for the goal, improve your confidence in 1v1's and add a variety of finishing to your arsenal.
Program Highlights:
- Finishing with power, improving clean ball striking
- Finishing with finesse, improving placement
- Receiving and deceiving to set up the strike
- Moves to beat the last defender
- Movement in and around the box
- Playing with back to goal, set or shoot?
Players will receive lots of repetitions to enhance ball striking and be exposed to different types/styles of goal scoring opportunities. Players will also focus on enhancing other technical skills and will be given the opportunity to showcase these developments in small sided games.
In the finishing activities, and in coordination with the Colorado United Goalkeeping Program, we will have goalkeepers work on enhancing their skills and get valuable repetitions.
This program is for 2012 & 2013 Boys and Girls registered in the competitive program.
This is a 4 week training program.

The program will be directed by United’s Director of Goalkeeping Hayes Bell and DOC John Senkosky.
This program is only available to players registered in the Competitive Program.
This program will focus on a player's ability to strike the ball when attacking the net. We will be focusing on topics such as the mentality of a striker, proper ball striker technique, and improving our touch when on the ball. Along with that we will be working the flip side of goal scoring, shot-stopping.
In coordination with the Colorado United Goalkeeping Program, we will have goalkeepers work on starting position, footwork in the goal, low, middle, and high diving technique, and catching/parrying of the ball
