Winter Training
Goalkeeper:
Our goalkeeper camp provides a supplemental training program for motivated boys and girls in a realistic game environment. Participants follow an official Colorado United training program that includes footwork, diving, handling, reaction saves, shot stopping, and dealing with crosses. Additionally we will focus on saves within the game through a wide variety of shooting games that are designed to create realistic game situations. All training sessions have been developed by our Director of Goalkeeping, Hayes Bell
Field Player:
We focus on ball striking and shooting off a dribble, pass, cross or combination. Additionally, we will focus on finishing chances, penalty area positioning, as well as recognition of scoring opportunities through a wide variety of shooting games that are designed to create realistic game situations. This should provide hundreds of opportunities to score goals and to help develop the goal scorer. All training sessions have been developed by our Copa Director of Coaching, Dan Cheeseman.

The program will be directed by Copa Academy Director, Dan Cheeseman with assistance from the competitive staff.
This program is for U9 – U10 teams from the Copa program. This program will have an individual player emphasis vs team focus. Each session's emphasis will include Tempo, Ball Moving/Rolling, and High Energy.
Training Day: Friday’s
Dates: 1/20, 1/27, 2/3, 2/10
Time: 4:30 – 5:45pm
Ages: 2013 and 2014 Boys & Girls Copa teams
Capacity: 96 players per time slot (48 Girls, 48 Boys)
Location: Broncos Training Facility (13655 Broncos Pkwy, Centennial)
Cost: $140 per player

This training program is available to all 2015 birth year players. The training program will focus on improving individual technique, 1v1 scenarios, and small-sided games.
The program will be held at Whitman Options Gym on Mondays (6558 S Acoma St, Littleton, CO 80120)
All players should bring a properly inflated soccer ball, water, and be dressed appropriately for training. Gym shoes or flat shoes, no cleats

Boys Dates (Mondays): 1/9, 1/16, 1/23, 1/30
Girls Dates (Wednesdays): 1/11, 1/18, 1/25, 2/1
