The United States Speciality Sports Association (USSSA) Elite Academy League debuted in 2020 and has provided a competitive national platform for several professional and international players.
“The Elite Academy is composed of member clubs that represent Elite competitive clubs in their market and shown to be of the standard and will benefit from being on this platform. By unifying clubs within the conferences, we have maintained the defining standards of previous elite platforms with a collective approach to making sure the platform sits atop the youth landscape.”
Elite Academy features year-round competition for over 80 clubs across the country in six age groups (13U, 14U, 15U, 16U, 17U, and 18/19U). U11-U12 is an option inside individual conferences. The annual competition calendar includes the league season, national showcases, and the Elite Academy League national championship.
Thanks to partnerships with world leaders in their respective fields, Elite Academy players have access to tools and technology to capture key information that can be shared with college coaches and professional scouts — making every game a recruitable moment.
We are very happy and excited to report that we received and accepted an invitation to compete in the Elite Academy League beginning in fall 2023.
Colorado United has a long history of being one of the most integritous soccer clubs in the state. Since 1960, we have proudly served the Littleton community in both recreational and competitive programming. Fast forward to today and so much has changed in youth soccer, though, the club remains strong in our core value of “developing players for life”. However, we simply have not offered a national or regional pathway for our players until now.
